Excellent video, rather long, but totally interesting and informative. The truth is that I find very interesting the history and culture of the Middle Eastern countries, like Iran.

I did not know that there was this type of religion practiced by some tribes in Iran. This video really helps us to expand our knowledge regarding the culture, religion, and traditions of many part of the world. In this case, Iran.

Despite the fact that this video was not intended for our LAH2020 class, I found it relatable to our course content. These "crash course" videos always present information in an enjoyable and approachable way.

I found the murals very interesting. They have a social and political commentary against USA, but as an Art student, Street art has always attracted my attention. It is a subversive form of visuals that is temporary because that is part of its essence and is also part of the message. It will not last and someone will paint over it eventually. Murals like these have a social relevance in their own time, and the ones who survive gain historical relevance as they tell part of what was (or is) going on around them as they were created.

Call me anti-american but those murals were quite beautiful to look at...I normally find paintings dull however those murals about how (some of) the Iranians view Great Satan are eye grabbing.

This was an eyeopener. Because of the war the US has been in, we don't learn much about countries like Iran. Seeing all the anti-US graffiti really showed how much they hate us. One of them even said "down with the US." Even though we are slowly pulling our soldiers out of the area, we will always be at war with countries like these.
