A highly interesting and enjoyable film, it exposes the first years of the Cuban revolution and the Cuban missile crisis in detail. As a Cuban born and raised under Castro's regime, I was told those events from their point of view, it is laughable and at the same time shocking to see Fidel Castro talking with such hypocrisy when he says that it was immoral not to accept having the nuclear weapons in Cuba after all the support they were receiving from the Soviet Union, as if that decision was a matter of moral.

I feel like you need to not be from Cuba to understand the several perspectives of the Cuban missile crisis. Sure, this was a matter of morality, but Castro also was thinking of a way to raise Cuba's power through the Soviets like several other second/third world countries have tried doing it with the United States. Castro had ideals that oppose the American democratic system, so it was obvious that they were going to assist the United States' biggest enemy in the Cold War. Cubans still hold a grudge against Castro for taking advantage of his power and turn everything into a communist dictatorship. I agree that the guy was a true smart bastard who got away with everything, but if he was that terrible with the civilians, then those same Cubans would have done the exact same movement he has done against Batista's regime in the 1950s, instead of fleeting to Miami and living la vida loca.

This was a very interesting film being that it was very informative. I've learned more in depth about the Cuban revolution and the Cuban missile crisis. Especially because I didn't understand it fully so it was nice to understand it more.

The cuban missile crisis was something terrifying and luckily we avoided a war with the soviets. Must have been scary times to live in Miami, as Cuba is so close.

Looking at the history of the cold war has made me realize that we have come to the brink of total of destruction multiple times. Very scary to think about.

This video really makes me appreciate how JFK and Khrushchev managed to avoid nuclear war during the Cuban Missile Crisis. It also makes me detest Castro even more for trying to get Khrushchev to nuke our blockade.

This video really opened my eyes as to how close we all came to a nuclear war. Specially the part where the U.S secretary of the time said he had left the oval office thinking this was the last Saturday night he would ever see. Terrify remark sent chills down my spine.

WOW. This video was hard to watch. The cuban missile crisis was something frightening. But it was an exceedingly fascinating film, it uncovered the primary years of the Cuban missile emergency in detail.

The Cuban revolution and the Cuban missile crisis was definitely more intense than i assumed or history made it seems like specially when seeing how close we came to a nuclear war and nearly destroying ourselves, and i agree it was pretty scary living so close to cuba at the time.

So happy I was not alive for the Cuban Missile crisis.

Cold War was probably a very paranoid and worried time in us history being afraid that anything could happen between us and USSR

Very interesting, I always like to refresh my memory on what I know about cuban history. That was a very terrifying time in cuba and I am grateful to not have been born during that period of the missile crisis
