The Storm That Swept Mexico 1/8

LA TORMENTA QUE AZOTO MEXICO pt1/8

 Published on May 3, 2012
The Storm That Swept Mexico tells the gripping story of the Mexican Revolution of 1910, the first major political and social revolution of the 20th century. The revolution not only changed the course of Mexican history, transforming economic and political power within the nation, but also profoundly impacted the relationships between Mexico, the U.S. and the rest of the world.

I like how the video shows actual footage during the time of the war.

I liked the footage in the video. I also think that it is interesting to see how far Mexico has come along considering that the Mexican Revolution happened in 1910.

It is very interesting how the revolution of one country can impact so many f the countries around it. It just goes to show just how tied together the world really is. When one country is impacted, so are many others. I also astonished by the fact that over 2 million lives were lost in the revolution. The footage in this video was amazing as well

I agree with Andrew and Marcella: the footage of the time is outstanding. History is always more fun when you can see it happen rather than being told it happened.

I found the live footage to be very entertaining. I liked how they had people talk from first hand experience.

Each country will have their own crises on a daily basis, how it is dealt with will show how a country can be one as a whole. It's interesting to see how the circumstances in Mexico had a profound impact on its neighboring countries.
