Nella Fantasia

Nella Fantasia are the lyrics that Sarah Brightman wrote to the melody of "Gabriel's Oboe" from the soundtrack of The Mission

Bellow is the English Translation:

 In My Fantasy
In my imagination I see a fair world,
Everyone lives in peace and in honesty there.
I dream of souls that are always free,
Like the clouds that fly,
Full of humanity in the depths of the soul.
In my imagination I see a bright world,
Even the night is less dark there.
I dream of souls that are always free,
Like clouds that fly.
In my imagination there exists a warm wind,
That breathes on the cities, like a friend.
I dream of souls that are always free,
Like clouds that fly,
Full of humanity in the depths of the soul.

I wish they would've put this as an extra in the movie. I was obsessed with the song in the movie and watching this gave me chills. Loved it!

It is a really moving piece. It really fits the religious theme of the movie

Her persistency to create this song only gave her more of a push to reflect her passion within the words she BEAUTIFULLY sings! Definitely something that could be used in not only times of conflict, war, and rage but in times of deep, deep passion.

Really beautiful piece, the message it transmits for me, represents and ideal way of being that a lot of people fantasize and dream of. “Nella fantasia” means “of the fantasy”, it relates with that idealistic vision of how the author wishes and fantasizes about every human living free and in peace and a vision of a World that leaves war and hate behind, and evolves into the best place for humanity to live in.

The lyrics to this song are very beautiful. A world with peace and respect is really something people can only imagine and fantasize now a days.

This song really is beautiful. I remember hearing it a while back but from a different, much younger singer names Jackie Evancho, here's the link if anyone wanted to take a listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhN_ciiCsnw
