Ah yes! One of the best things about living in Miami, all the flights out of Miami to South and Central America! I love living in the capital of Latin America and the Caribbean! Go Panthers! The Allman book theme makes me think of this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQnhuj11zgI
Funny that you mentioned how living in Miami, is living in the capital of Latin America and the Caribbean and that if you live in Miami, you probably speak Spanish and so on. SO TRUE! I used to live up in Boston and spoke NO Spanish. Now, I can understand and speak it very well. In high school, I was in Spanish for non-speakers and they wanted to move me to Spanish AP because they thought I was a Spanish speaker and spoke Spanish at home! I only speak Italian at home! I love the diversity Miami consists of. Thanks to living here, I learned a third language! In addition, interesting to know that we are already prepared for the future!
Studying Latin American history seems very fun and interesting.
I do speak Creole living in Miami, so that means that's a plus if I decide to change majors.
I agree with everyone's comment!! I moved from Honduras to Miami, and the culture, food, music, and language remains exactly like back home.
