What a tragedy! Never knew we had a Japanese POW. Pearl Harbor and those affected should receive more recognition.

This was really tough time for the United States. Very sad situation especially because it happened very sudden and the United States was not prepared for it. Big Tragedy!

I did not know how many people actually were affected by this major event. Now that I've got a snippet of everything that happened it makes me think about what soldiers face all the time

Only after seeing this did I truly realize what a great impact the attack on Pearl Harbor had on the relations between the U.S and Japan. Also, it somewhat justified the atomic bomb droppings in Japan.

It is clear that Pearl Harbor's attack was the detonator that started the Second World War for the United States... after that Japan was the first target for America.

I've realized that the attack on Pearl Harbor was something that changed the lives of not only the people that fought in the war but every American that was living at that time. Because of the attack, the Americans had to basically stop what they were doing and help out the war effort.

I agree with Salomon. This was very big part of or history as Americans because this event has shaped who we are. I actually went to Hawaii and visited Pearl Harbor and it was extremely breathtaking to be there and learn and see about this big part in our history.

I wouldn't be surprised if the relations between the U.S and Japan shifted. This attack really started WW11 for the United States.

I had a family member who was in pearl harbor. A very scary time to be an American when our navy was crippled.
