In the history of Mexico, few men have had the conscience and vision of Felipe Angeles, one of the greatest heroes of the revolution of 1910. In this companion video to the public television documentary "The Storm That Swept Mexico," Angeles's role in this turbulent chapter from Mexico's past is depicted.
The Mexican Revolution, the first major political and social revolution of the 20th century, not only changed the course of Mexican history, but also profoundly impacted its relationships with the rest of the world. The Storm That Swept Mexico looks at the complex historical, social, political, economic, and cultural forces that shaped the Revolution, influenced its course, and determined its consequences and legacy.

As it should be, a human that dies for its goal(s). So that a legend can be made in that human's wake.
Not knowing much about the Mexican Revolution, I watched this video with a completely open mind. Although the video was fairly brief, it was informative nonetheless. Before watching this I did not even have the slightest clue as to who Felipe Angeles was and his contribution to the Revolution.
I am very happy to be part of this class and learn so much about history. Mexico revolution was very intensive and Mexicans are great fighters!
I got around to watching the rest of this video, and I'm glad I did. I learned a lot more information in the last bit of the video than the first half. Very well put together.
Felipe Angeles seems like an amazing leader. It is sad, but at the time in Mexico, assassinations of presidents were common occurrences. This is a what if moment in history to me.
I had no idea that Angeles was such an important figure in the Mexican Revolution. Very eye opening video. Interesting to know this part of Mexican history.
This was a nice short video. We didn't really get to learn much about Mexico's history after the Aztecs and Mayans so I liked learning a little bit about their revolution.

It shows very little character to kill someone because he or she disagrees with you. People get too defensive instead of seeing that if people do not like you, is for a reason. Felipe Angeles had a lot of courage to challenge the current government knowing how uncivilized the situation could, and did turn.
