On the one hand, I was in Peru 2 years ago and I learned some things about this beautiful country and its ancestors Incas. But on the other, I still did not have a chance to learn that much about Aztecs and Mayas.
The most fascinating from this video was a story about Aztecs calendar. It was amazing to learn the fact that the calendar used to have only 18 months and 20 days (the remaining last five days were unlucky for them which meant some disaster could happen). Also, I found very interesting the fact that calendar was used to serve them as a guide to see which season would be the best for planting crops. Thier rainforests took my attention because it is amazing to know that medicine for cancer and many other diseases had been known for Aztecs even in that time and just recently were discovered in a modern world. Furthermore, in this rainforest was discovered a first birth control pill, that's also something good to know and remember and that's why I had pleasure watching this documentary and learn all of this facts.

This video is amazing and gives such good insight on these two cultures, I love watching documentaries on my ancestors it makes me feel closer to them in a way.
