Puts into perspective how different Brazil is from the rest of Latin America - makes me think of Argentina as a Brazil that couldn't hold onto its peripheral territories.

Really shows how different the development of Brazil was from the rest of South America.

Although Brazil had risen from a different development, it played a huge part in the Triple Alliance & this presentation effectively presents this.

I found it interesting how Solano Lopez used the Brazilian ship's flag as a rug in his office. I also found it interesting that he was the one that had provoked the war.

I picked this subject for my essay, great topic and very informational. I also thought it was interesting how Lopez used the Brazilian ship's flag as a rug in his office. Makes me think he wanted to keep it to remember what happened and how he felt at that exact memory. What do you think Laura Valdivia?

Even though they are in the same continent, it is really interesting to see exactly how different Brazil is from the rest of South America.

I think this was a very great video in showing the uniqueness of Brazil as compared to the other latin American counties surrounding it.
