Although you might wonder how Elton John can be knighted he is one of the greatest pop stars. Even if you hate him or aren't a fan of his.. voice, he is very influential in the contemporary music world. Plus he also donated millions to charities with the money he's made through his music.

The battle at the Alamo is where Davie Crocket fought and died, correct? That is a very heroic story.

I think in Cuba they should let the people vote and have more than one party running, like the U.S. That will make the Country stronger. Without the people in Cube they have nothing. It's the people that work on the farms and factories. But its the goverment that controls them. They need to figure how to have equal powers.

I have never heard about the Brothers to the Rescue organization. I find it very interesting and brave of them to go rescue the cubans that wanted to flee from the country. The Cuban government accusing them of being involved in terrorists acts bothers me because those flying the planes were cuban exiles. Not Americans. Then again, what do you expect if you're entering their country and messing with their government. I don't neccessarily think it was wrong of the organization, but when u mess with dictators, stuff like the shooting of planes will happen.

Although Libya under the rule of Muammar Gaddafi was a threat to US national security, I believe it was a mistake for the US to get involved providing NATO with US Air Force pilots and fighter jets to help support the anti-Gaddadi forces. Now instead of having leadership in Libya that had little influence in North Africa and the Middle East, the Muslim Brotherhood (an anti-American Muslim extremist group) will now take power, just like they did in Egypt, and the US will now have a much greater threat to deal with than before.
