This is a documentary about forensic anthropologists (BONES?) doing research on the 200,000 Mayan peasants who died in the Guerilla War in Guatemala ...

So sad to see how many skulls were found from these mayan peasants.
I found this documentary to be really sad and controversial. I cant believe people will go through so inhumane acts.

I am glad that the atrocities conducted by the Guatemalan government on its Mayan citizens has come to light. Its sad to hear that a government would torture and kill its own minorities, but at least now the Mayan people may receive some rectification for their suffering.
Very sad documentary.
This is cool.
I found both sides to be viable in that the Mayans can, and should blame the then president for the atrocities. However, I also why he would think he was innocent of genocide, considering that there was an ongoing civil war going on the time and he was responding to the conflict, not so much the culture.
sad documentary about the bones of these former poor mayans

WOW!!! this is so sad but at the same time I think it's so interesting and fascinating that it was found.

This was a very interesting video, and I learned some very interesting things.
I can see why he might be innocent in that he was simply reacting to a civil war, but it still seems as though he should be held responsible to a certain degree.
War doesn't really solve anything. This man decided to kill thousands of people over land. It probably would of worked out better if he took the route of settling an agreement of some sort. Share the land or trade something for it. Killing and covering things up is what brought this man where he is now.
This documentary was interesting but still very morally heavy to watch. I've got a lot of new information though.
It's sad to hear that all those people died but overall very interesting documentary
